Their mission is to make high-quality molecular testing accessible, affordable, and efficien 3EO’s offer a molecular quality test that not only delivers fast results but also reduces costs and enhances workflow for both physicians and patients.
Challenge:
Given that the technology was designed specifically for testing COVID-19, the main challenge was to create a seamless user experience that integrated their diagnostic device (the Cube) with a mobile app. The goal was to enable healthcare providers to manage patient data, track test results, and streamline the testing process for both physicians and patients.
The primary goal was to design a user-friendly mobile app that could manage the 3EO Cube device while also keeping track of patient data and test results. This would provide physicians with a simple, effective way to monitor and follow up on tests, while also offering a clear, accessible way for patients to view their results.
To address the challenge of integrating new technology with an intuitive mobile experience, I conducted a user testing to understand how users interacted with the 3EO Cube This testing helped to optimize the app’s functionality and design.
To meet the project goals, I created a flow that allowed healthcare providers to easily manage the testing process using the Cube. The design ensured that patients’ test results were easily accessible, with intuitive navigation for physicians to track and follow up on results. I also incorporated updated COVID-19 information into the app, ensuring that the app not only managed test data but also provided valuable, relevant content that enhanced its utility.

I worked closely with the development team throughout the project. Their expertise was invaluable in ensuring the feasibility of the design decisions and integrating them seamlessly into the app’s architecture. The collaboration allowed for quick iterations and design decisions that aligned with the technical requirements of the Cube and the app.
